Other than the temperature being below zero, Kitchener was a blast. We had a chance to meet some great “Kitchenerians” (above left to right – Emily, Sarah, Rob). Kevin, the owner of the Boathouse was incredibly gracious and giving so if you have a chance to hit up the club please do because you won’t regret it, and make sure you eat there because Patty (Dave Grohl look alike) can seriously cook.
This is our first show north of the border (those of you that for some reason don’t know what that means – it’s Canada). We played at Stix (chicken wing special on Tue nights – see above) in downtown Barrie with the Know Nothings (from Barrie). Ter is desperately trying not to spill on his Exact-Science shirt

We added a show about 2 days ago when Courtney (she’s wonderful by the way!) decided to put together a quick event at Nobody’s Art Cafe in Buffalo. She did a great job with such little time to work with. The set was intimate which is always enjoyable.
Played night two with Dali’s Ghost and had an incredible time. Half the show was dressed in their costumes (Tyler from Dali’s above – playing trumpet) but we unfortunately were costume less due to lack of space in Moth Ball (van). Thanks to Ian for putting on a great show in Buffalo’s Theater District at the Loft, and to Courtney for helping with the merch table.
so here we sit on the precipice of the upcoming tour. we’ve got a show here in Venice Beach on Friday, a day of packing on Saturday, then we take off for the fall 2009 tour. Ahead is everything from Pittsburgh to Buffalo, Toronto to Montreal, and then back down the East Coast with stops in Boston, NYC, Baltimore, Philly and so many more cities in between. If you’re out that way, we’d love to have you come see us play.
Additionally, we’ll be playing a significant amount of the new album songs on tour … just to whet the whistle for the new album set to launch in early 2010.
